Child Family Health International

Bay Area NGO, Child Family Health International, partners with the Philippines Department of Health, University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital, and Rural Health Unit Clinics to help students gain a deep appreciation of how a health system provides services for all, even difficult to reach populations, as well as address distinct rural and urban realities.

Bay Area non-profit, Child Family Health International (CFHI) a leader in international education, has contributed to the seminal new text "Preparing for International Health Experiences: A Practical Guide." The book gives concrete guidance on how to choose and take part in experiences in global health drawing on a wide collaboration of perspectives under the leadership of editor, Dr. Neil Arya.

A scholarship made possible by Dr. Thomas Hall, respected UCSF lecturer, has been awarded to two young leaders from Belmont University and Kansas State University
